I have been working at Chester Elementary School now since 1997. I did take several years off to be a stay-at-home mom to my two children who are also in elementary school. I grew up in the area and am a product of the Region 4 school system. I absolutely love my job and look forward to each day. No two days are ever the same and my students keep me on my toes with a smile on my face on a regular basis. I am honored to be working with the students, parents, community and colleagues at Chester Elementary. I look forward to helping the students become successful, productive, and caring citizens. I hope to instill my love of books to my students and encourage them to be life-long readers. In my spare time I enjoy playing and hanging out with my children. Bike riding and scrapbooking are two of my favorite hobbies. My favorite snack foods are popcorn and green M&Ms. Of course it is always hard to say no to ice cream.
